Healthcare experience company buys Forsta

Less than a year after forming from software companies Confirmit and FocusVision, search technology pioneer Forsta has been acquired by healthcare experience specialist Press Ganey, for an undisclosed sum.

Forsta became the new name for the merger of Confirmit and FocusVision in April last year, some 12 months after the forced sale of Confirmit to Nordic private equity fund Verdane and the resulting merger with Dapresy. Its new owner specializes in the experience of patients, members, employees and consumers across the entire healthcare ecosystem, with solutions focused on safety, clinical excellence, patient experience. patient and workforce engagement, and works with more than 41,000 healthcare facilities.

Press Ganey says the purchase will advance its drive to embed cutting-edge, human-centric technology into its thought leadership and management expertise in the sector. Clients will have access to Forsta’s full suite of tools for customer experience, employee experience and research tools, and Press Ganey will also benefit from Forsta’s knowledge of other industries, including retail. , financial services, travel and hospitality, technology, entertainment and consumer goods.

For Forsta, the deal means “the resources to innovate at an accelerated pace,” access to the healthcare industry’s “benchmark” CX and EX capabilities, and deep consulting and change management experience.

The transaction is expected to close in the first half of this year and remains subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
