WPP hires Wendy Lund as Chief Client Officer for Health and Wellbeing

WPP announced Tuesday morning that it has hired Wendy Lund as executive vice president, chief client officer for health and wellness.

In his new role, Lund will oversee WPP’s efforts to support clients in the health and wellness industry. The agency works with several leading health organizations, including Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and GSK, among others. Lund will report to Lindsay Pattison, WPP Client Manager.

This is something of a homecoming for Lund, who previously served as CEO of GCI Health, which is WPP’s integrated global healthcare communications agency, for more than a year. decade. Most recently, Lund served as SVP and Director of Communications at Organon.

Last year, Lund helped Organon launch its first major PSA campaign ahead of World Contraception Day. In August, Lund spoke with MM+M at the 2022 Pharma USA event to discuss how she elevated the focus on women and health to a business imperative during the spinoff from Merck.
